HaaaRaJuKu!

After breakfast, Sarah, Josh and I took the train to HaaaRaJuKu!..Neither of them knew 'Smile Town' so I showed them the cool street that is 'Takeshita Dori'.

We were all starving so we sacrificed being lured by any SALE signs for an amazing lunch at this Thai place I love. It's near the corner on the 4th floor by Jonathans. It is scrumptious.

GAP-one of my favourites since moving to Japan, had so much torturingly amazing stuff, including this SJP style skirt with cute cardigans to match. I never was as keen on GAP in UK...I don't know whether the selection is different or that the sizes are more Surina-friendly, but I love GAP Japan. The assistants also always look so amazing. It must be a part of the recruitment:for the girls to look stunning and the guys to look funky-hot.

Leaving empty handed, we continued to fulfil our edible-wish list. After oishii Pad Thai, I craved McDonalds Apple Pie and consequently upon entering a branch of the most hated fast-food multinational, I gave in to some fries too.

After HaaaRaJuKu, we followed the Yamanote line back to Shinjuku and browsed around Kinokuniya. It's shocking how expensive the magazines are! From Focus [my top choice] to In Style or The Economist, prices skirt the 2,000 border! That's a tenner in Brit-talk! Raised in a cost-price environment [my family owns a 'Newsagents'], I refuse to pay such amounts for limited fun. Besides, the Internet is useful if I really want to know something. I did buy 'Le Point', which I consider to be educational and informative. I must practice mon francais...so it was a 'good buy'.

Before catching the Chuo back home, we grabbed some snacks. Feta and tomato salad with sun-dried tomato olives. If only I had some fresh baguette.
