Friday. Yes it's Friday.

It is currently drizzly and grey. Very resemblant of UK weather. The last couple of days have been rather warm but as we know, with the spring comes pollen and the itchy eyes, sneezing and irritation. The dominant 'kahun' or pollen in Japan is Cedar. Hence I haven't suffered as I usually do in England, yet. The main offender there, is grass pollen. Not looking forward to that again.

Last night, Etsuko and Akira-my local friends came round. Poor Etsuko couldn't stop reaching for the tissues. The Vix helped a little though. It's a good idea to 'trap' the pollen from entering your nose by applying a little inside the rim of your nostrils. Sounds nasty, but helps. It was good to see them as ever. I showed them my Indian dress, but I don't know how we got on to that topic. Etsuko is eager to go to England to shop if anything. She loves Margaret Howell and Conran.

Talking of last night's munchies on the kotatsu, I am craving Habanero. I suggest you grab a pack but eat carefully. They are super hot but addictively tasty potato rings.

They left after ten and then I washed my hair. I did 'twists' in it this time. It is how I always used to do my hair. But since coming here, just moussing and leaving to dry is enough. That's it! Easy. But since my last haircut, the curls are high to the point that it all just frizzes and looks crap. So hopefully, taming the ringlets after washing, using some Beeswax should make it 'last' longer.

Anyway, after that, and hanging up the laundry I met the most cuddliest soft toy I have ever had: Molly. She's a 'cow' all white with patches of light grey and she is the best cuddle. Ahh the sadness of living alone.

All three of us: Mhairi, Michelle and I have one. Yes we are all nearly/over the 25 mark, but do possess the 'child' within. Michelle's is a hamster called Patrick, and Mhairi's is an elephant called Ken/Piggy.

Haha, you may be laughing at this but seriously: feeling is believing.
